1. Purpose of This Release
This Photo, Video, and Media Release ("Media Release") explains how photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media involving junior participants may be captured and used by World Junior Golf Tour ("WJGT," "we," "us," or "our"). This Media Release is incorporated by reference into the WJGT Terms & Conditions and is intended to be read in conjunction with the WJGT Privacy Policy.
2. Grant of Permission
By completing registration and affirmatively acknowledging this Media Release via checkbox, both the parent or legal guardian and the junior participant grant WJGT the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, film, record, or otherwise capture the participant's name, image, voice, likeness, and performance during WJGT events and related activities, and to use such media for tournament coverage, leaderboards, websites, social media, marketing, promotional, and educational purposes.
3. Dual Acknowledgment Requirement
WJGT requires a one-time checkbox acknowledgment from both the parent or legal guardian and the junior participant confirming they have read and agreed to this Media Release. Electronic records of acknowledgment may be retained.
4. No Compensation
No compensation, royalties, or fees will be paid for the use of any photographs, videos, or media.
5. Ownership of Media
All media captured by or on behalf of WJGT is the sole property of WJGT. No approval rights are retained.
6. Release of Liability
Parents and guardians release and hold harmless WJGT and its affiliates from all claims arising from the use of media, including claims related to privacy, publicity, or emotional distress.
7. Third-Party Platforms
Media may appear on third-party platforms. WJGT is not responsible for third-party use or redistribution.
8. COPPA and Privacy
This release complies with COPPA and the WJGT Privacy Policy.
9. Duration
This release remains in effect indefinitely unless revoked in writing. Revocation applies only to future use.
10. Acceptance
By checking the acknowledgment box, both the parent or guardian and the junior participant agree to this Media Release.
